Coffee itself wasn't being excluded, its the male space that is threatened. Coffee, video games, tech, sports, etc... they're just abstractions that men CREATE (they don't drop out of the sky) through male orientation. But as soon as they reach prominence, women feel entitled to invade it, and break it up, covering their envy in a blanket of victimhood, instead of CREATING THEIR OWN. And it hasn't changed in 400 years, look at the? gaming community.

BTW: There is a strong historical argument that both this petition and its response were written by men. This petition, in particular, was meant to be? satirical.

So if someone told you that you couldn't have coffee just because you had a penis that wouldn't make you a little angry? Aside from giving birth, I can't think of many things women have had "a monopoly on." I think it's mildly amusing that your objection to this petition simultaneously defends? men's right to exclude women while whinging about how women have a monopoly on fun. Your contradictory sentiments are so obtuse and rife with contextual fallacy that one can't help but laugh at them.

This attitude is rather telling of how the "oppressed" women were and are in a historical context. I'm surprised todays women haven't written a petition against video games. God forbid men find something they enjoy amongst themselves excluding women. Hell,? god forbid men find anything they enjoy that women don't have a monopoly on. let alone a mental stimulant such a coffee, and they'd rather it be Liquor than coffee. lol. 10:20 "Ancient Privileges of our Sex preserved"...in 1674?...interesting
