free-audio-books.info/novel/flatland-full-audio-book-a-romance-of-many-dimensions/ Flatland (FULL Audio Book): A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin Abbott Abbott Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions is an 1884 science fiction novella by the English schoolmaster Edwin Abbott Abbott. As a satire, Flatland offered pointed observations on the social hierarchy of Victorian culture. However, the novella's more enduring contribution is its examination of dimensions; in a foreword to one of the many publications of the novella, noted science writer Isaac Asimov described Flatland as "The best introduction one can find into the manner of perceiving dimensions." As such, the novella is still popular amongst mathematics, physics and computer science students. (Summary by Wikipedia)

Okay, so I've listened up to 4:10, and if I'm right, it's talking about a place with only length and width.. (As with looking at the penny from the side.) But that arises a question: If it, (or? we since we're reading/living in the described space,) is only length and width, then how could we see such a thing? If only existing in two dimensions, how could it, or what size would it's depth, be?

Because nobody "has the time" to watch an hour long audio book XD (AAaaand,? they're possibly too bored to learn something about many dimensions...)
