Me silly, I didn't mean in a conditional sentence, but I meant to express the future in the? past using a reported speech...;)

Ben: "Judy said she'll give me a penny for my thoughts" shoudn't it be "Judy said she'd give me a penny for my thoughts?" I knew that to express the future in a conditional sentence we should use would instead of will, but as I know it they? can be both right, or maybe in the spoken language you can use that...I just don't know...thanks for answering me! :)
