I would say " stamp the fire out" or "stamp it out " it is strange for me "stamp the fire out", but perhaps I am not right. Could we say? it?

Hi Alex.? Is there any rule for putting the object between the two words or at the end? I mean: "To STAMP the fire OUT" & "To STAMP OUT the fire" are both correct?. Thanks. Marcelo.

it is possible to use? it for feelings particularly negative ones

Thank you for another great video clip! Could you tell me please if this phrasal verb can be? used with feelings? For example, "stamp out one's love"? Does that make sense?
