Learning English - Lesson Seventy Two - English Tense

Learning English - Lesson Seventy Two - English Tense
In this lesson we will take a look at tense in English. What we did and what we are doing and what we will do. What happened, what is happening and what will happen. All of these sentences involve tense. Thank you to those who pointed out that drank was used incorrectly. Of course informally we often use the word drank to express having drunk something. Often there is a big gap between formal and informal English. A point I make at the end. Those who are native speakers often use informal English.

Hello Misterduncan! I have a question:? why did you put "I have done my homework" in the past section? Isn't it that Present Perfect Tense? Or is it because it has Past Time Reference? Thank you !

I'm sorry for bothering you, but I'm confused. "I have" is in the past? tense? minute (04:51)

All in all, I do find Present? Perfect as a tense to be a present-time-connected structure which is clearly identifiable as different from Past Simple tense, which is a narrative tense to clarify details about past time

Or I have as a? short answer to a question in Present Perfect could have hinted at something I have already finished doing or been about and it is STILL open to changes. Comparred to I did sg that is in itself a reference to past can highlight the fact that it was started and finished in past time and at present there is no chance to change anything about it.
