Synonyms for 'put up with'.? To put up (with): abide (with), accept, bear (with), endure, go (with), stand (for), stomach, suffer, support, swallow, take, tolerate, etc.

I've never heard or read such construct eg "abide the key down". I'm not a music teacher, so I can't give you an absolute verdict, but I think the word you're looking for here is 'sustain'. In music,? sustain is a parameter of musical sound over time.

'Abide with me' does not mean 'agree with me',? but rather 'stay with me', or 'put up with me' Cf. using the preposition 'by': Abide by me (abide by my rules).

Thank you so much for this lesson series. I have a suggestion. If you show the words using environment to show the objects with? their names that will be more useful for us. For example, in the kitched you can introduce to all object which are used cooking or eating ; in the garden you can introduce to all tools and equipments... Ibrahim / ISTANBUL - TURKEY
