Fudd Elmer as you know English is not a phonetical language. There some rules, but exceptions all the time. The best way to improve phonetics is really practicing it a lot. It takes time to learn a language? well. Thank you for watching wetalk videos!

Hello, thanks for the video! I'm an english speaker but I figured I'd watch this anyway since I'm studying up on phonetic sounds. Anyways, I don't really understand the differences between "a" and "o:" as well as "dx"(the j sound as in joke) and "3"(As in vision). To add, I have a few other sounds too: Ts as in Mats. "Ear" as in Here. "Our" as in Pour. "Air" as in Air. Or, Ar, Wh and Ol are sometimes added too. I also wonder why Q or the Qw sound has always gotten a? place in the alphabet too.

Erick Velazquez this is a typical American sound. It's the sound of "cat", "bad", "dad" (when "a"? is between consonants in short words). Practice the pairs "bed - bad", "dad - dead". Thanks for watching wetalk v?deos!
