Thanks for these lessons Rachel. It helps me alot :) Can you explain how to pronounce "o" Just sometime it sounds as [?u] and sometime as [?] But I dont understand when I should pronounce the first sounds? and when the second. thanks

It is an [?] vowel. [?] will sound like 'any'. BUT, it's an [?] vowel followed by a nasal consonant, which isn't quite pure.? It's like the word 'ham' I describe in this video: watch?v=ofCSzej9XqA

Hi Rachel. I searched for the pronunciation of "Annie" in dictionary(dot)com. Although the IPA is /??ni/, to me it sounds more like /??ni/. Maybe it's me, and I can't see the difference yet. Or maybe the "a" in "Annie" is pronounced differently than the "a" in "bad". Any comments?? Thanks.
