THANK you for that! :) Ahhh I'm so nervous, I'm taking the CAE exams on Friday/Saturday and I have? to write two reasonably good essays! It can be so hard for me to write under pressure.

For GCSE you get blank copies because you have to (or I did) choose two out of about twelve. My A Level course? was the same - you get an extract or a blank copy. :D I like context because I love history as well :)

In the leaving we don't really contextualize, we sort of just focus on what is in the text. Like you don't loose points for not having it. You have the poems in front of you!? Lucky! I have? to learn so many quotes.

Hello! This was marked as spam and I do not know why :( I did Of Mice And Men at GCSE. It isn't very exciting but Steinbeck is great because of those massive paragraphs all about nature and colour and animals. Lots to write about :) You'll? be absolutely fine, good luck! :D
