Intermediate Listening English Practice 18: NEWS: Australia is Actually an Island

What about the United States?? It's actually a subcontinent, and Victor Harbour (in Australia) is itself a peninsula, and Eden Hills (near Adelaide Australia) is a hamlet (an area full of trees lined with a few houses). It's just that when I had proof of Australia being an island I learned to discern better by thinking twice before making an opinion, now I know the truth!

nice lesson One question I have about my own country... I m from india If aus is island because of that country? srounded by water so what about india??? How can I discribe india in that point of view?? India is partly srounded by water n rest of place is connected with some countries... Will you please tell me what the word for that one
