Thank you very much. I love having real conversation...Knowing english doesn't require me to make a successful and deep talk. You also have to a variety of knowledge in many fields, sense of humour and you talk about what you actually experienced through... But being fluent in language make you feel more confident, not to be? shy away from talking to native speakers...ISeem that your friend is slightly different in pronunciation...a little bit hard to listen.

Even in America, people use different vocabulary and speak with very different accents. It's a good idea? to experience as many different sounds as possible to learn more and find the most comfortable accent for you. :) Keep practicing!

i had some problems trying to understand the australian guy, but i feel better because i can see that he's accent is a real? challenge even to a native.

But it's really? great practice for non-native speakers. :)
