didn't get these sentences " you need to tighten? your belt" and " I am fairly flush this month" ??? could anyone explain??

@debradai well i think "catch" in this case mean an "opportunity" for? helen to seeking money so she should go to the casino @threedragonshorse "fairly flush" mean you have more money in this month, you're in excess money!
