This is extremely helpful, even for a fluent speaker of the English language. I have great difficulty comprehending some stories I have to read for? college, so this serves as an extra helpful combination of visual and audio reading.

I wish I understood German. I know that certain things get lost in? translation. Kafka never specifically said that Gregor had turned into an insect, but that was the closest translation

@allpasses what do you mean? I knew that the book was about a guy who turns into a bug, but didnt? know that it happened so early as the first page. The character Gregor who lives in his parents house and makes the family money wakes up one day as a bug. He doesnt know why and instead of freeking out he is just ashamed while everyone else freeks out and he just lives as a bug while his family freeks out.. Its really emotional
