I'm shocked at how inaccurate Burroughs' depiction of ape behavior is. I'm also wondering why he talks of gorillas as being a separate kind of creature from the apes that raised Tarzan. At first I thought maybe that meant Tarzan was being raised by chimps, but they don't reach anything near 350 lbs, as indicated. I'm wondering whether Burroughs was inventing some "missing link" anthropomorphized ape/human? for his narrative, drawing on the (then) mystery of evolutionary mythology.

Yes, good narrator. I will probably listen to this one. Last night I bought? the Reza Aslan "Zealot" read by the author for $24 with the immersion audiobook. He is very good and a genius historian, but I could use some relief from the depth of that. Thx
