What I find is that, even though English pronunciation is sometimes really hard for non-native speakers, English speaking Canadians are very tolerant of funny accents. They are pragmatic: if one can understand whatever it is that another is? trying to say, then everything is alright. Try speaking French (their kind of French) in Qu?bec. Then you will know what a hard time is. (Sometimes I think they pretend to not understand. They can not be that dumb, can they?)
