One good thing is that it makes it easy when people upgrade their phone or if they've been using iOS for a while, there isn't any learning curve. This is especially? useful for non-techie people or older people.

Since iPhone first came out, and now he have the iPhone 5. Why doesn't Apple change the icon(s) on the home screen? Its the exact same thing. iPod touch goes along with that too. I mean I love Apple products, but all they do? is change the style of their devices. The only icon they DID change was the music one on iPod/iPhone. It used to say "iPod" on the older iPods/iPhones. Now on the newer ones, it says "Music" That's the only thing they changed.
