Good is an American expression. I think in England good would be used if you ask. Are you a good or a bad man? Hence I'm good would be an acceptable reply. Therefore I wouldn't teach this to my students, because in my opinion it's bad English. ?

Oh! I disagree that WELL be an adjective , as you said adjectives? describe nouns, could you give an example because I can't figure out one. I consulted Longman Contemporary English Dictionary, and it only mentions WELL as an adverb modifying an adjective or an action (verb) anyway I'd remain interested in receiving an answer on this matter using well as an adjetive and rest thinking I still appreciate your teaching
