New IELTS Listening: (Pt 2) Loneliness Networking

This video is Part One of a talk about loneliness and social-media (Part One is also available). Answer the questions on the screen while you listen. In the second half of the video the recording will be played again, but with the words of the talk and the answers appearing as you listen.

"Less" is the only grammatically correct option. "Decreased" or "reduced" would be OK if the context of the? question had "a" in front of "significant" - "Chronically lonely people have a significantly decreased chance of survival than socially active people do."

Yes, "affect" is a good answer. If? you look at the list of possible answers at the end of the video, affect and damage are also acceptable.
