A few months ago I tried to leave a comment re: this recording on the LibriVox board that made some of the points addressed below. Was told that "LibriVox only allows for positive criticism." What a bunch of? whiny bed-wetters we've become; now even a marginal skill like reading aloud well is apparently something that EVERYONE possesses. And yes, Virginia, it is pronounced WOOD HOUSE!

Awful voice, tone, and? delivery. Voice projects vision with all the light and shade. This gent reads like a salesman under suspension. Wodehouse must be cartwheeling in his grave!

It's a name. "Victor" is spelled right with a? k in other dialects.

Well, I DO so dislike to admit this,as P.G.Wodehouse is one of my favorite authors; but all derogatory comments that will be made (and they WILL be made!) about this reading will be true...the diction? IS clear, but if a golem could read & speak, I'm afraid I'm sure this is what they'd sound like...no inflection, passionless, bland & soporific...

Congratulations... This is the worst? reading I have ever heard.
